What is the 2024 maintenance fee?

$475 with 5 free guest passes included.

What is the deadline for paying the maintenance fee?

The annual maintenance fee is due on April 15 each year.

What are my options for maintenance fee payment?

All payments to the pool are handled through Member Splash, our online membership management system. To make a Maintenance Fee payment, you must log into your account. From there you will check out using a credit card. We are no longer accepting checks. The pool will cover all online payment fees; those fees will NOT be passed on to members as they were before the 2020 season. If you need assistance paying online, or you can’t pay with a credit card, please call or email our administrative assistant- pool@greenbriar.org or 703-378-4421.

What is the late payment penalty for missing the maintenance fee deadline?

  • Payments made April 16 through one day before Opening Day*:  $25

  • Payments made Opening Day* through September 30, 2024:  $50 (No access to the pool until the account is paid)

  • Payments after September 30, 2024:  $125 (Account enters year 1 of arrears)

*Opening Day is Saturday, May 25, 2024 (Memorial Day weekend) unless circumstances require us to push that back.

What is the deadline for renting my membership?

There is no deadline. Rental applications however, will NOT be accepted before May 1st. Please do not submit your rental request until May 1st or later, as they will be returned.

Please note:  

  • We have a new PAPERLESS process in place for renting your membership.

  • Families can now rent a membership for up to 3 seasons.  Renters must reapply each year.

How do I know if the pool received my payment?

All payments are handled through Member Splash, our new online member management system. Your credit card payment will credit your account almost instantaneously and your account status will be marked as ‘paid.’

What is the pool’s mailing address?  What method should I use to mail a letter/package to the pool?

The pool has a physical mailbox located at the pool where all mail is received.  The address is:

Some older membership certificates and older versions of forms state an old PO Box address that is no longer in use.  Please DO NOT send anything to a PO Box address.

Please DO NOT send anything via FEDEX, UPS or USPS with tracking (they will not leave a package even if no signature is required).  There is no one at the pool during the off season to sign for it and front desk staff are not authorized to sign for letters or packages.

Does the pool maintain a list of interested buyers/renters?

The pool does not maintain a waitlist.  Sales and rentals are private transactions.  See related questions for more information on selling or renting.

How do I find someone to rent/buy my membership?

There are lots of ways to advertise a membership for rent or sale.  Some include:

  • Advertising in the Greenbriar Flyer (E-mail greenbriarflyer@hotmail.com)

  • Join your Nextdoor Neighborhood Community (www.nextdoor.com)

  • Facebook and other social media sites

  • Ask your friends and neighbors - They just might know someone who is looking! Word of mouth travels fast. The more people that know you are looking, the better!

How do I rent/sell my membership?

What are the processing fees for renting/selling my membership?

The pool charges a $100 fee for processing a rental application.  Please see related questions for more information about renting your membership.

The pool charges a $75 fee for processing a transfer application.  Please see related questions for more information about selling your membership.

Processing fees are paid by the buyer/renter through their own Member Splash account.

I lost my membership certificate; how do I get a new one?

Send an email to the pool administrator (pool@greenbriar.org) requesting a new certificate. The admin will provide instructions for paying the $25 replacement fee. Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing. A new certificate will be mailed to you.

Do I still get 5 free guest passes each season?  How much does it cost to buy more guest passes? How do I buy additional guest passes?

Five (5) free guest passes are included in your membership each year. Unused guest passes do not carry over to the next year. We are no longer using paper punch cards; guest pass credits will appear in your Member Splash account.

Additional guest passes are available for sale through your Member Splash account. Individual guest passes are $5 each; a bundle of five (5) guest passes is $20.

PLEASE NOTE: Guest passes are only valid for the year in which they are purchased. They are a use-it-or-lose-it item. Please purchase sparingly as refunds will not be granted for unused passes and no passes will be allowed to roll over to the new pool season. It is recommended that you bookmark the Member Splash login page so that you can log in while at the pool and purchase additional guest passes over your mobile device if needed.
